Instagram Apps

We can all quite agree that Instagram is addicting. And like all visual things I try to create, capture & inspire. Iphoneography is just another opportunity to get creative. I've been asked about the apps I use to compliment Instagram so here's my top 6:

1. Super Retro
   
   This app has vintage filter effects that I really enjoy. On top of that, you can crop a picture in various shapes like squares, panoramic & round.


2. Hipstamatic

Hipstamatic is the 'hipster' app. I use it because it really feels like film photography in the palm of your hands. I try not to overuse it, since I don't want to be overwhelmingly 'hipster'.


3. Diptic


I love this app because it gives you the chance to tell a story, visually, by fitting multiple pictures in one (without it looking super tacky like collages).


4. IncrediBooth

Photobooth Pictures. Enough said.


5. 8mm

Most videos you've seen are taken with my phone, thanks to this app. I love 8mm format, and when I heard about this app being developed, I bought it right away and have not regretted it since.


6. Pixlr-o-matic

Just a fun editing app that has different filters and effects to charm your pictures. It's not the best out there, but it's definitely a good one.
